The Linyanti area is located in the northwest corner of the Chobe National Park, north of Savute.  It is adjacent to the Linyanti River and to the west lies the Selinda Reserve and on the northern bank the Kwando River.  Most of this area consists of floodplains however around these two river systems one can see riverine woodlands, open woodlands and lagoons.  The area's relative remoteness makes it a favoured safari destination.
