Deka Camp – Hwange National Park

Deka Camp is probably the most remote camp in the Hwange National Park, situated in the far Norwest on a private concession. The terrain in which Deka is situated attracts diverse wildlife including large herds of elephant. The open country is extremely good for spotting cheetah and wild dogs and at night lion and hyena calls can often be heard.

Each of the eight units is inspired by the natural surroundings and are made from rock, canvas and thatch. The overall feeling is one of a camp that rests comfortably within the remote and untouched surroundings.

Guests can enjoy morning and afternoon game drives, night drives and walking safaris with a professional guide. Walking safaris add a unique thrill and is an opportunity to engage with the scents, sounds and smaller details of what the African Bush has to offer.
