San Camp

Situated on the edge of Ntwetwe Pan in the Makgadikgadi Pans the magic of this camp is in its minimalism, both at the camp and in the mysterious desert landscape.

Seven tents with enormous four-poster beds draped in crisp cotton with feather soft blankets and Persian rugs. En-suite bathrooms have hot running water and elegant copper jugs and basins. The entire camp runs on solar-power and at night one finds lanterns scattered around the camp lighting the walk ways.

Activities include a visit to see the habituated meerkats, walks with the local Bushmen, 4 x 4 game drives, horseback riding and quad bike rides across the salt pans.

An additional attraction is a two-night expedition by quad bike to Kubu Island, this camping experience is a once in a life time experience that will set one’s soul soaring.
