Verney’s Camp – Hwange National Park
Verney’s is situated in the south eastern part of Hwange National Park on a private concession overlooking an impressive waterhole where the famous elephant herds of Hwange regularly frequent. The camp matches the timeless wonder of a classic safari camp aimed at the affordable luxury market without compromising on quality. Verney’s concession is in an extremely remote part of the park that is not accessed or frequented by regular park visitors.
The ten tents are tucked perfectly under the shady teak trees that border the waterhole in front of the camp, each beautifully positioned to ensure the best privacy and serenity for guests to enjoy the natural beauty of the area. Each tent is beautifully designed to retain the authenticity and magical feel of being on safari.
Activities at Verney’s include morning and afternoon game drives, guided game walks, community visit to the Mabale Village and a visit to the Wild Dog Research Centre.
